Julian Savulescu to appear on 'File on 4' to discuss ethics of creating a deadly virus and censorship of research data
Scientists have created a deadly and strain of H5N1 bird-flu virus that can be easily spread by airborne transmission. On the programme, Savulescu will discuss regulation of sensitive research data - how it should be protected and whether such research should be permissible at all.
Programme airs on BBC Radio 4 at 8pm on Tuesday 7 February.
